Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I am techno challenged and am still figuring things out here. Currently I have my seniors' blog links posted at http://metadot.net. You may visit that site to view my students' blogs and access more information about my class.

I hope to add information about my other classes with links to homework explanations, etc. But those are rather high hopes, I fear.

If you would like to contact me, please e-mail me at abaldwin@auhsd.net, or you may leave a comment on this blog.

General Blog Info

BLOG INFO - Students are keeping blogs at http://blogspot.com. Their links are posted in the sections below by period. You may access my blog at http://mrsallysonbaldwin.blogspot.com. I will post blog topics on this page as well as my blog. Students are to copy the writing prompt and paste it into their blog then respond. Students should also change either the color or font so that topics and responses can be easily identified.

BLOG REQUIREMENT - Because some students are philosophically opposed to the idea of blogging, all students are allowed the option of simply typing their responses and turning them in on paper to me.

Students are not supposed to use text or "im" spellings in blogs. Their vocabulary choices should reflect that of the tone expected from each individual topic. Some topics might require a strict, formal tone while others may allow for something more casual.

BLOG LENGTH - Unless otherwise specified, blogs should be somewhere along the lines of "less than an essay, but more than a paragraph." I expect responses to indicate that the student has thoroughly reflected on the topic and has addressed the prompt completely.
